1 Corinthians 15:41- My Story

“The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.”

I’ve been Catholic and loved the color yellow for longer than I can remember. That more or less sums up my personality. I love my God, my Church, my family, my roommates and my community around me. I started college 3-4 years ago and found a beautiful new adventure waiting for me. My world has been set on fire in good ways and in bad ones. College came with a variety of challenges and I like to think I’ve joyfully survived a great many of them. Sometimes, I have great insights, sometimes I just have fun stories and that’s what this blog is for: sharing my own experiences with others. Or least for writing them down somewhere I can remember them.

I graduated from college with a degree in English and a double minor in Pop Culture and Sociology. I love people and I love studying the way we interact as a culture and society. But mostly I just want to see people finding God at work in their life which is why I’m embarking on a year of service to Syracuse, NY where I’ll spend my days working in an after school program.

I’ll be praying for you and ask that you do the same for me! Hopefully, you can learn from my experiences and watch me grow. This is one big adventure and it’s a journey we are all making together! Ultimately, we’re here to get each other to heaven so let’s start working on that with love.
